Would anyone vote to ratify the 16th amendment if it were propose for ratification today?

Of course I would vote for it. What other way would this country survive? There are things the government provides that people can't provide for themselves. A military for instance. That will never change. The problems today are not the taxes, it's the people deciding tax law. For instance, it said nothing about taxing savings in the 16th amendment. If it did, then I wouldn't vote for it. I don't believe in taxing both income and savings. Make it one or the other. But we do need tax law and I wish the current law would follow the 16th amendment to the word.
