I have a ratified contract for two parcels that I was told could go on my FHA loan, but have since learned that HUD will no longer insure a property with an extra lot with a separate tax ID. Has anyone worked through this issue before? A conventional loan is out of the question. Can we have the seller sell use the extra parcel for $1? Can the seller combine the deeds through public hearing somehow? What can be done at a minimal cost to get both lots into this one loan?

Their are to types of people that snowboard, the one who live for it, and those who try it and give up first try, first off make sure its something you really want to do, it cost money, board, bindings, boots, pants, jacket, goggles, helmet(very important), lift tickets, etc. Its a good idea to buy now, during summer because its so mush cheap than in mid-season. Shop online too. Just so you know the first day you try it, you'll be doing a lot of falling and sitting. Once you get the hang of it, snowboarding is easy. Please stay on the the beginner trails, don't try a double black and kill yourself, know your limits and you'll progress. take a lesson or two so you wont develop bad habits.

I'm there every summer with the group of athletes that I coach, for early season training (1st week in august). There is limited public skiing offered on the glacier, but you may be a bit disappointed. Skiing is only allowed from noon to 3 pm, and much of the glacier is off limits, as training lanes for various race teams take up a lot of the terrain.

About 4 years ago I jumped while running on cement and landed on my ankle so the lateral part hit the ground/ top part. I forget if I heard a pop/crack noise. I was in very bad pain and It was hard to walk(happened duing school) I went to nurses and she gav me ice. The pain never gone away, specifically when I am playing soccer and snowboarding. It is not as flexible as the other ankle, and the pain sometimes goes up the ligaments between my tibia and fibula ( after sports) .it also makes tons of cracking noises when I'm walking anywhere( usually one after the other). Culd I hav torn a ligament, or something worse? What do u think is wrong with it and what wld the doc most Likly do to treat it. Thx!!!!

It all depends on how bad your condition is. Most sciatica patients suffer from degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, or a herniated disc. The problem with this is that the sciatic nerve is a combination of nerves exiting out of your lumbar spine; which is usually the area of our spine that takes the most abuse. It is also the most prevalent area of the spine that suffers from disc diseases; therefore the sciatic nerve is affected quite often. Physical therapy usually helps, taking pain pills will just prolong the inevitable...that you need to do something physically to the region whether its conservative care or surgery. Chiropractic care is used quite often to treat sciatic pain and is suppose to be quite effective. Another method used is spinal decompression; which a lot of chiropractors have in there office. Some physical therapists have it as well. I would try not to snowboard until you have some relief. If you go snowboarding you are most likely going to flare up the sciatic nerve and be right back in the same spot. Hope this helps. Well I love him and I want to marry him. He is going to ask me to get married soon I know. But friends and family say we're too different. I'm 25 and I am like most of my friends in terms of interests and lifestyle. I don't really "get" older people that much but nothing against them or anything. Anyway, he is 35 but lives more like an even older man. He wears Lands End or LL Bean kind of clothes. He reads history and has a cell phone but not a smart phone (like its five years ago). He likes baseball and football but nothing like snowboarding or skating or the stuff the guys I dated in school liked. He reads serious stuff like Atlantic Monthly (I think he reads that) and watches the PBS news show with that older guy. He still reads Playboy and I'm pretty sure he the last guy on the planet who still does. Not to be superficial but my guy is like some man from the past and sometimes that's great (most of the time) and he is mature and responsible. He knows business and legal stuff and gives great practical advice to me and my friends, some of who think of him more like a father figure because he's so level-headed and most guys are kind of dumb and lazy (but some are hot like the guys at the Jiffy Lube). But sometimes I worry that he is much too old fashioned and set in his ways. We have a great intimate life and he is giving and generous and affectionate so that is not an issue. But are we too different in our lifestyle? Can I do anything to get over this?

Snowboarding is completely different than skating. Just as it's completely different than skiing. I prefer snowboarding over anything. It's hard to learn at first, but once you get down the basics you will really enjoy it. Don't be surprised if you have trouble standing up for the first few hours. The sport just takes a lot of determination. If you can get past the difficulties you'll really like it. I've tried skiing before...not a fan.

Snowboarding tricks advice/help?

okaay so iv been boarding for about 5-6 years now. I learned to board pretty quickly considering i taught myself. I can go down black diamond hills with carving and such. But i want to start to learn tricks. Its summer and iv looked into many snowboarding camps but all are to far and involve plane ride. Can't rotate arm so palm faces up?

I don't know when it started, but if i hold my arm out straight palm down and attempt to rotate my arm 180 degrees so the palm faces up (from shoulder joint, ebow locked), I can only get it around about 100-120 degrees, it is worst in my left arm. I injured my rotator cuff a few months ago because my chest muscles are too strong for my back muscles, so I've pretty much stopped with chest stuff and am focusing on back. I still feel a disproportinate burn in one of my shoulders when lifting weights which recruit these muscles. I think someone is telling stories here because you did not have a liver transplant and be discharged from the hospital in 3 days. Never would happen ever. The only thing they do for a liver that fails is a transplant and it takes a long time to go through the whole process of getting evaluated and then being accepted and put on the national waiting list to receive an organ. You talk as though it's some little minor surgery you had done. Most people stay for at least 2 weeks after a transplant. That's when everything goes well. I stayed for 63 days. I don't believe you ever had a transplant.

Of course I would vote for it. What other way would this country survive? There are things the government provides that people can't provide for themselves. A military for instance. That will never change. The problems today are not the taxes, it's the people deciding tax law. For instance, it said nothing about taxing savings in the 16th amendment. If it did, then I wouldn't vote for it. I don't believe in taxing both income and savings. Make it one or the other. But we do need tax law and I wish the current law would follow the 16th amendment to the word.

Tablet and Photoshop Not Cooperating?

Recently I had a problem with my old computer and had to switch to a different one, I do a lot of drawing digitally so I have a Bamboo Fun Tablet and a copy of Photoshop Elements 7. Timberline is one of the ski areas at Mt Hood. There is more than one on the mountain but only Timberline is still open. Timberline is open year round but during the summer the only runs open are diamond runs. Good time to buy a snowboard?

Hey everyone I've been snowboarding for about 6 years and I think it's time to get a new board. I'll be going out to Colorado for college this fall in mid-August so I'm not sure when I should buy a board. I've heard that mountains have good deals around this time and mid-summer but also that august is a good time because they're dumping all last year's gear. What do you think? Also, I have size 12.5 feet and in looking for a new board I'm not sure if I should go wide or not, my current board was a normal width one but I threw some risers on it so my feet were higher off the ground and there were no carving issues. I just really don't want a giant wide board that can't turn haha. Thanks again everyone!

Has anybody been to Blackcomb Glacier in Whistler BC?

I'm there every summer with the group of athletes that I coach, for early season training (1st week in august). There is limited public skiing offered on the glacier, but you may be a bit disappointed. Skiing is only allowed from noon to 3 pm, and much of the glacier is off limits, as training lanes for various race teams take up a lot of the terrain.

I just finished my second year of snowboarding and going onto the 3rd. I've rented boards all the time and never owned my own board. I realized that I like shorter and lighter weight boards. I'm 5'8" and I weigh 155. I like the 151 lengths which suits me best. I just am caught up about what kind of board I want. I plan to learn tricks on the rails and do park on the upcoming season but I also like to shred the mountain on the intermediate slopes. I don't like black diamonds, I don't like going that fast but I like the speed on the intermediates. Which board would be best? I like a lot of flex and less stiffness. How to prepare my Huskies for Mushing / Sledding?

Hey guys! Just wondering how to get my Huskies ready for mushing. I'm finishing up my Welding apprenticeship in College and my Vocational School hooked me up with a welding job in Alaska. Most people didn't want the job for the harsh environment of Alaska, but I'm pretty thrilled. The job is in Anchorage Alaska, but they're supplying me with a house in a village about 15 miles from it. So I'll have a huge backyard and a vast frozen tundra to explore. I have 2 Huskies right now and they're only 10 months I got them when they were 2 months old( they're brother and sister I got them together), and my parents offered to get me 4 more as a kind of "Congratulations for starting your life" present. And skiing/snowboarding doesn't really interest me so my past time will be mushing. My welding apprenticeship will be done in about a year, and I thought this amount of time would be good to start training them...Before anything about how expensive it will be to maintain 6 dogs know that they are paying for my housing and I really don't spend my money on anything and come from a fairly wealthy background. So any tips on any activities I can start them on will be appreciated By the way I live in the deep South, so really won't be able to do anything with snow until November-ish.

I want to start snowboarding, but I know it's expensive. I've lived in the Poconos my whole life, so I've seen a lot of people do it, and almost all my friends do it, so I wanna at least give it a try. Should I rent my fist few times? so it all started on my first day of work. I show up and see her and instantly fall for her. it was love at first sight. it turns out she was picked to train me for the day. we talked a little but I shy. each day that went by I grew closer to her and became her friend. we would go skiing and snowboarding every Saturday night. by the end of our work season I was in love.
