What do you think of the Equal Rights Amendment feminists work to achieve?

It should have been ratified a long time ago, its ludicrous that this battle still has to be fought for equality.I actually find it embarrassing that such a progressive country as the USA has not done so, I wish that all women could be treated as equals, it makes me sad that its not written into your constitution.
