Rebellions before the Constitution?

I'm writing an essay supporting the thesis, "The Constitution should be ratified right now in 1787." One of my points is that the national government proposed will secure citizens and their rights and I need more evidence. One thing I have is Shays Rebellion so I'm specifically looking for local rebellions in the US, before the Constitution was ratified, similar to Shays Rebellion. However, other evidence will work as well
