Is glacier snowboarding suitable for advanced beginners (read my case)?

I can ride pistes with red marking, but I am not really good at it because I have been snowboarding only 5-6 times in my life... all during the last winter. So I lack control, confidence, technique (I have learnt to snowboard all on my own, no teachers) etc. Now an opportunity is presented to me to go ride on a glacier during the summer. As far as I know these are parks on glaciers which have facilities for freestyle. Hm, do you think I will be like a fish out of water if I go to a place like that ( I have never done freestyle)?
